Delete your Colurs account and data
From here you can request the deletion of your Colurs account and the personal data associated with it. Please read carefully which information is deleted and which we must retain by legal obligation before continuing.
What data is deleted
When we process your request, we permanently delete:
- Name, email address and phone number.
- Profile photo.
- Saved bank accounts and payment details.
- Your device's notification token.
- Location data associated with your profile.
What data we keep and why
Colurs handles financial operations, so Colombian law requires us to retain —in blocked form and only for compliance purposes— certain information, even after you delete your account:
- Your identity and verification (KYC) information: name, ID document and the documents/selfie from the validation.
- The email and phone linked to your operations.
- Your transaction history and the accounts or payment methods used in them.
- The location recorded when performing each operation (fraud control and AML).
This is required by anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism financing rules (SARLAFT) and other applicable financial regulations, for the period required by law: 5 years from the end of the relationship. Once that period has elapsed, this data is also permanently deleted or anonymized.
How to request deletion
Fill out the form with your account details. We'll confirm by email once the deletion has been processed.
Request it by email
You can also write to soporte@colurs.io from the email associated with your account to request the same. We'll verify your identity before processing the request.
